Most everyone knows I have a pretty wild obsession with plates. This is due largely in part with my food photography hobby because frankly, behind every beautiful meal is an equally beautiful dish just waiting for the spotlight. I was first drawn to MONDAYS work when I saw some of their plates at Still House, a minimal home goods store, in the East Village. These gorgeous uniquely shaped plates just spoke to me and I bought some. Then I went back and bought a few more, because what the heck, right?
As part of my ongoing attempt at reaching out to small businesses in the area and setting up a shoot, I messaged MONDAYS and set up some time for me to come down to the studio and take some photos.
