My client wanted to create a logo for their political media/advocacy organization, New Momentum Coalition. The design vision was to utilize a bold, domineering isometric illustration of the Washington Monument paired with the name of the organization in bold typography.

In the end, the client was so happy with all the iterations provided and I was so excited to work on this project since I haven’t had much opportunity to work my logo skills in awhile.

First, I did some rough sketches with pen and paper. Then, I moved to digital sketches, shown below:

Next, I created black and white comps to share with the client. For the presentation, I showed black and white and reverse options of each logo as well as a corresponding text-only version of the logo. In the initial request, the client had mentioned wanting to explore the option of using the logo with and without the monument illustration.

Finally, I shared color versions of the chosen logo, concept 1.
